Current World Record Holder for most pull ups in a day John Bocek walks you through his training program. He modified a program he followed for ultra marathon running to pull ups. He currently holds the most pull ups in a day world record with 5,801.
(These percentages are based on a workout session, sometimes he did more then one session a day)
Monday Rest Day
Tuesday 5-7% of Maximum Goal
Wednesday 10% of Maximum Goal
Thursday 7-8% of Maximum Goal
Friday Rest
Saturday 20-50% of Maximum Goal
Sunday 20-50% of Maximum Goal
For example if your maximum goal would be to do 100 pull ups in a day
Monday Rest Day
Tuesday 5-7 pull ups in a workout session
Wednesday 10 pull ups in a workout session
Thursday 7-8 pull ups in a workout session
Friday Rest
Saturday 20-50 pull ups in a workout session
Sunday 20-50 pull ups in a workout session
